EXT Arma V4

Adding to an already legendary resume, EXT is proud to introduce the new Arma V4 Series. The V4 is specifically designed to raise the bar on what is possible in MTB damper performance technology. Don’t be fooled by the similar appearance to its V3 predecessor, for beneath the surface the V4 refines and improves what was already an industry game changer. Building off of our prestigious pedigree in motorsports racing, EXT has worked diligently to put out a damper that ensures its rightful place as innovative industry leaders in the highly competitive MTB marketplace.

Arma V4 is designed for aggressive riders. Ideal for DH and E-bike applications where LOK pedal efficiency is not necessary. In exchange of the LOK 2.0 option found on the Storia V4, Arma has a more aggressive HBC allowing the shock to be more supportive at the end of it's stroke.

• Improved adjustable HBC technology: Effective through last 20% of the stroke with more energy absorption due to new hydrostatic seal design
• 14mm diameter diamond like carbon (DLC) coated shaft. Most advanced engineering coating available for durability and low friction.
• Spring Thrust Bearing for improved alignment and noise reduction.
• Large volume bladder design with very low reservoir pressure (55psi) to ensure maximum sensitivity.  
• High viscosity index oil to provide improved consistency over a wide range of operating temperatures. 
• High flow 29 mm main piston
• 24 mm valve piston
• 14 mm steel shaft (50% larger than most other coils on market to help deal with large side loading events)
• Engineered rebound circuit to separate bump and rebound oil flow – Ultra low-friction coating
• User adjustable HBC technology
• Very low hysteresis for high dynamic response
• High turbulent flow for progressive dampening and mid stroke support
• Low friction seal
  
• Springs are sold separate and available on the product page and a 2nd spring can be purchased at a discounted rate.

Note:

AFMLOW RIDERS: Due to the tight frame clearance on Amflow frames, we are recommending a maximum rider weight of 230lbs.

 To ensure frame clearance, riders over a 170lb will most likely require and be shipped with a C55 spring-size. C55 spring rates max out at 650lbs rate, which calculates to a 230lb rider weight. If you are over the recommended maximum rider weight, your spring may touch your frame under full compression.
